Our policies

What to expect before you book, and what happens if plans change.

Booking and deposits

Book online or call us; every visit is by appointment. We take no deposit, so there is nothing to pay to hold your time.

Canceling and running late

Please tell us at least 24 hours before your visit if you need to move it. If you are running late, call us: up to 15 minutes late we shorten the visit to fit, and after that we offer the next opening.

If you miss an appointment

If we do not hear from you and you miss your visit, we call you to find a new time. After a second missed visit, we ask you to call before booking again.

Children and companions

The studio is made for adults, and we serve guests of sixteen and over, with a parent or guardian present for anyone under eighteen. A friend or partner can wait with you in the chair by the window.

Patch tests and allergies

There are no patch tests. If you have had a reaction to nail products, tell us when you book, and we can tell you every product we plan to use before we start.

Redos and refunds

If a nail lifts or chips within a week of your visit, call us and we will fix it on a short repair visit. If you are not happy with the shape or finish, tell us before you leave and we will redo it then.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. Leave one at the table, in cash or on your card, for whoever looked after you.

Before your visit

Come with clean hands, and let us know if you have a cut, a rash or a swollen nail, so we can plan around it. If you are wearing gel or acrylic from somewhere else, say so when you book and we will set aside time to take it off.

When to ask your doctor first

If you have diabetes or a wound on your foot, check with your doctor before a pedicure. If a nail is painful, swollen or changing color, ask a doctor about it before we work on it.
